How do you play Rayman Origins with a controller on PC?

If the Rayman Origins application is running, close it and follow the instructions to switch the gamepad to DirectInput mode. If the gamepad is wireless, you should unplug it. The switch on the pad needs to be turned to D. The wireless receiver or pad needs to be plugged back in. The Rayman Origins application needs to be restart.
