Is Starcraft 2 difficult to learn?

Everyone has said that the game is difficult, but the matchmaking is good. Our community has done a great job of creating new players' guides. It's a video game, and video games in general attract toxic people, so the SC2 community gets that reputation. May 5, 2015;
