Can you play Mario Party online?

Super Mario Party's online minigame mode is incredibly limited. Super Mario Party is the first franchise game that has an online component. Is there anything else you'd like to see? Unlike most marathons, groups of four only get to play five mini games together, this one is more of a sprint.
